Bent Creek Golf Course Hires New Superintendent

Rob Litz, co-owner of Bent
Creek Golf Course in Jackson, MO recently announced
the addition of Mike Sprick as Golf Course
Superintendent. 
Sprick is a graduate of the
University of Missouri Columbia and comes to Bent
Creek after holding the same position at Westwood
Country Club in Poplar Bluff, MO.
Prior to that, he worked at notable courses in the
St. Louis region including; Boone Valley, St.
Albans, Bellerive Country Club, Winghaven and
Meadowbrook.
I am very much looking forward
to providing the finest playing conditions possible
to the golfers in the Southeast Missouri Region,
said Sprick. Bent Creek is an outstanding golf
course and I am really looking forward to this
opportunity.
Bent Creek Golf Course, built
by the Litz family in 1990 is widely recognized as
one of the top public
golf courses in the state of Missouri. Dozens
of
golf tournaments and charity fundraisers are
played at Bent Creek annually.
Mike Sprick is known for maintaining greens as
well as anyone in the entire country. We are
pleased that we could attract such a quality person
here as Mike. His expertise is second to none in
the industry, says Litz.
